Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" his opponent as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two time unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of those words, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
However, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of the sport's biggest money-making draws, consistently making huge earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly happening.
